Psion has announced the new Workabout Pro 3, developed incorporating the company’s recently announced open innovation philosophy. The new Workabout Pro 3 includes the option of four new keyboard layouts including a full QWERTY keyboard and additional keys makes it easier to navigate even with one hand. Psion says the Workabout Pro 3 also features a sharper, brighter display that is easy to read and extends the battery life of the device. The device also has twice the RAM and four times the Flash ROM memory to run applications faster. It is highly durable, able to withstand dust, water, extreme temperatures, and multiple six foot drops onto concrete.
