MATERIAL HANDLING INDUSTRY POISED FOR GROWTH: MHIA
03/09/2010

The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) says it is encouraged by the number of companies that showed up for the initial booth-space draw for ProMat 2011.

Over 300 exhibitors showed up to reserve 180,000 square feet of floor space for the event to be held March 21-24, 2011 in Chicago.

Hal Vandiver, MHIA executive vice president, said the interest in the show “bodes very well” for the future.

It was the second largest first-day exhibit space draw for any ProMat event, and represents nearly two thirds of the predicted final floor plan.

ProMat 2011 will be held at Chicago’s McCormick Place, collocated with the International Robots, Vision and Motion Control Show.
